Milestones of BREMAX
BREMAX GmbH can look back on a history spanning decades and today stands by your side as an international & competent partner in the world of parts cleaning. We plan and sell parts cleaning systems for almost all industrial sectors in the aqueous and solvent areas.
BREMAX has a vertical range of manufacture that is unrivalled. Whether you need a standard or customised solution, we support you from the initial task, through the production of the parts cleaning system according to your specifications, to the commissioning of the system, including service, maintenance and spare parts.
We also operate the Contract cleaning customer's own components as a full-service provider.
2008
The story of Bremax GmbH began in 2008, when our current Managing Director filled a vacancy at a company near Osnabrück as European Sales Manager for parts cleaning machines. At that time, the company already had close links with iLSA in Italy for solvent systems, but planned and built special systems at the site in Melle itself. A team grew together that still works together successfully in parts today. But more on that later...
2012
There was a change on the supplier side this year. Our Managing Director Christian Mahnken was looking for a new partnership to expand the product range for customers and decided in favour of the then Cemastir Group based in Bologna. Cemastir had a much greater vertical range of manufacture; in addition to solvent systems, Cemastir also developed and built parts cleaning systems on an aqueous basis (continuous systems, rotary transfer systems, multi-chamber dipping systems, etc.).
2016
Yes, business has not been bad at Cemastir. In recent years, distributors have been established around the globe to sell Cemastir's products internationally. In addition, Cemastir has further focussed its continuous presence at leading international trade fairs for parts cleaning and was no longer able to meet global demand at its old location in 2016.
There was only one logical consequence to further expand the growth and this led Cemastir to new business premises in the established industrial area “Zola Predosa” in Bologna ( Italy ) in January 2017. Another milestone in the company's history had been reached.
2018
Another milestone in Cemastir's history took place in December 2017: together with Cemastir Lavametalli srl, our Managing Director founded Cemastir GmbH in Bremen.
Since 2008, Christian Mahnken has gained a wealth of international experience through numerous projects, which he will be able to utilise in the future as Managing Partner at Cemastir GmbH (now BREMAX).
In addition to the company in Bremen, the business premises at Robert-Bosch-Str. 3 in Lohne have been open since January 2018. Parallel to the project planning and sale of parts cleaning machines and special systems, Cemastir GmbH will enter the contract degreasing sector as a service provider.
Cemastir GmbH is your first point of contact right from the start with its own design department and excellently trained service technicians. Our team looks forward to getting to know you.
2020
Cemastir continues to grow. With the acquisition of FINEP from the DOLLMAR Group based in Milan, we have secured further market share in industrial parts cleaning and can now offer you an even larger product portfolio.
This represents a further development step that favours the expansion of the sales network, strengthens expertise in complementary systems and expands the product range with greater market penetration.
In strategic terms, this merger will enable us to consolidate our expertise and add further value to our products, sales and trading activities. Ultimately, however, our customers will benefit from receiving everything from a single source after thorough consultation.

2021
Validated processes and operations are extremely important for the growth and survival of a company in today's world. We are pleased to inform you that our production plant and headquarters of the CEMASTiR Group has successfully passed the ISO 9001:2015 certification.
A further step in our quality management has thus been completed.

2024
Growth also happens when two strong partners join forces. This extensive planning between the Cemastir Group and iLSA-MC srl. started back in 2024.
This has numerous advantages for our customers:

The task was to preserve the good „old“ and to work openly and constructively on new techniques and products. We are also pooling our purchasing volumes in order to continue to offer our customers one of the best price/performance ratios on the market
We are also looking forward to welcoming many new colleagues to our sales team and to expanding our aftersales service network with numerous additional service technicians
In these turbulent times, we are setting sail together with the same goal: we will continue to offer our customers our high-quality products at fair and transparent conditions and are ideally positioned for the future as a service provider in terms of sales, service technicians, aftersales and contract cleaning.
2025
Our managing partner Christian Mahnken takes over the majority shareholding in the company and leads our company into the future on his own responsibility. This milestone in our company history marks a new chapter under a new flag. On 01.12.2025, Cemastir GmbH becomes Bremax GmbH.
